Description

You will lead transmission and interconnection analysis for utility-scale solar and storage projects across target ISO/RTOs, evaluating constraints, pricing, and curtailment risk to inform site selection, queue strategy, and investment decisions. You'll synthesize complex technical analysis into clear recommendations for business development and senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or closely related quantitative field with power systems exposure
• 2+ years of relevant experience in power sector
• Experience with power systems analyses and market analytics
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders
• Comfort owning analytical workstreams

Responsibilities

• Lead transmission and interconnection analysis for utility-scale solar and storage projects across target ISO/RTOs
• Plan and execute analytical workstreams including 3rd party studies for each project
• Perform power system analyses and market analytics, translating results into commercial metrics
• Manage external consultants for technical and economic evaluations
• Track market and policy changes affecting project headroom, congestion, and strategy
