💼 About This Role

You'll own and scale the ML function at Prodigal, partnering with the CTO to define the multi-year vision. You'll lead a world-class team and translate research into production systems that impact over 100 customers. This is the senior-most ML role at a company where AI is the product, not just a feature, offering a unique opportunity to shape consumer finance intelligence.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Own ML vision, roadmap, team, delivery, and business impact
• Partner with CTO to set company-wide technical direction
• Build and lead a high-performing ML organization
• Translate research into production with LLMs and Agentic AI
• Represent Prodigal externally at conferences and collaborations

📋 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in ML and software development
• 4+ years leading ML teams managing engineers or tech leads
• Track record of shipping ML products at scale with business impact
• Deep technical fluency in classical ML, deep learning, NLP/LLM stack
• Strong coding skills in Python, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas, and Spark

• Experience as founding ML hire at high-growth AI/ML company
• Background in voice AI, conversational AI, or fintech/lending
• Experience with cloud services (AWS), Databricks, scalable systems
