💼 About This Role

You'll own the SI/PI methodology for high-speed PCB and system designs, ensuring electrical margins across multi-gigabit interfaces. You'll work on Etched's AI inference ASICs, delivering 10x performance over GPUs. This role offers a fully in-person team shaping the infrastructure for the fastest growing industry.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Perform pre- and post-layout SI simulations for high-speed serial interfaces.
• Develop and maintain IBIS, S-parameter, and SPICE models.
• Execute PDN design, decoupling capacitor selection, and IR-drop simulation.
• Collaborate with PCB layout and ASIC teams on design guidelines.

📋 Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of SI/PI experience on high-speed designs
• Proficiency with Cadence Sigrity, Ansys SIwave/HFSS, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of transmission line theory and eye-diagram analysis

• Experience in data center, AI/ML accelerator, or HPC hardware environments
• Scripting automated SI/PI simulation flows using Python or MATLAB
