Description

You will lead Affirm's Continuous Integration and Build Infrastructure team, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of development pipelines. You will define the vision for CI and developer productivity, mentor engineers, and partner with leadership to align systems with product goals.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading engineering teams in CI/CD, build systems, or developer productivity
• Strong background in build/test automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Buildkite, Bazel)
• Familiarity with cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
• Solid programming background (Python, Kotlin, Java, or similar)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to balance long-term vision with short-term impact

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision for continuous integration and developer productivity infrastructure
• Lead and mentor a team of CI engineers, fostering ownership and collaboration
• Own design, scalability, and reliability of build pipelines across multiple services
• Optimize build times, test coverage, and feedback cycles for developers
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response for CI systems
