💼 About This Role
You'll join a robotics company transforming construction heavy equipment into autonomous robots, working on 100,000-pound autonomous robots at the intersection of hardware, software, robotics, and AI. You'll own board-level electrical hardware from schematic to production, bring existing PCB designs to professional standards, and establish design, validation, and manufacturing processes for a fast-growing startup. This is a unique opportunity to build technology with real-world impact alongside experienced leaders from Lyft's Self-Driving Car program.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Own PCB design lifecycle: schematic capture, layout, simulation, validation, production release
- Clean up schematics, BOMs, and documentation to a maintainable professional standard
- Design power stages, sensor interfaces, analog/digital I/O, and galvanic isolation circuits
- Establish validation practices: bench testing, ESD, load testing, resonance tuning
- Manage DFM reviews and relationship with contract manufacturers and fab houses
📋 Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
- 5+ years of professional EE experience with PCB design through production
- Strong analog and digital circuit design fundamentals
