Description

As a Float Medical Assistant, you'll provide an exceptional patient experience through venipuncture and clinical support, remove barriers to care, and ensure a seamless in-office visit. You'll support multiple offices and handle both front desk and lab duties.

Requirements

• At least 6 months experience as Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist outside externship
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency with technology suite: Slack, G-suite, Zoom, EMR system
• Customer-centric and empathetic approach
• Ability to support multiple offices in a market

Responsibilities

• Provide venipuncture services for pediatric to geriatric patients
• Perform EKGs, vitals, ear lavages, vaccines, PPD tests, and swabs
• Handle patient check-in/out, insurance verification, and scheduling
• Maintain specimen labeling, handling, and inventory upkeep
• Perform opening/closing duties and daily office upkeep
