💼 About This Role

You'll serve as the strategic leader of our engineering operating system, owning the health and configuration of Jira and Jellyfish tools. You'll ensure leadership has a crystal-clear view of engineering investment and velocity. This role is AI-First, using agentic tooling to automate mundane tasks and focus on high-leverage improvements.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and maintain complex Jira workflows and automations at scale.
• Map Jira signals to Jellyfish allocation buckets for accurate investment views.
• Synthesize monthly Jellyfish data into executive-level narratives using LLMs.
• Monitor DORA metrics and identify systemic bottlenecks.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years in Engineering Operations or similar data-heavy engineering role.
• Expert-level Jira Cloud administration skills.
• Power user proficiency with Jellyfish.
• Strong knowledge of DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, Time to Restore Service).

• Ability to write Python or JavaScript for API integrations.
• Experience with GitHub and AWS.
