💼 About This Role

You'll design and maintain scalable data systems for Roku's Ads business intelligence. Your work will power production-grade data pipelines serving analytics across the organization. You'll bridge software and data engineering in a hybrid role on the Data Foundations team.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Write clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviews
• Design and maintain data pipelines using Apache Spark and Airflow
• Optimize data storage and processing for scalability and performance
• Develop and fine-tune complex queries for large-scale datasets

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software or data engineering
• Expertise in Apache Spark, Apache Airflow, and Trino
• Advanced SQL skills with query optimization for large datasets
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and SOLID principles

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Kafka, and Presto
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
