💼 About This Role

You'll join Fleek's product engineering team to build the infrastructure powering global secondhand clothing trade. You'll own the ecommerce journey from discovery to checkout, integrating AI classification into the marketplace experience. This role stands out because you're designing systems for a market that hasn't existed before, handling 500K+ items monthly.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and build backend systems for the core marketplace
• Integrate AI classification engine into product workflows
• Architect systems to scale from 500K to millions of items
• Contribute to architectural decisions and mentor junior engineers

📋 Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional backend engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in system design, data modelling, and API architecture
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript or comparable stack
• Consumer tech background (marketplace, fintech, or consumer product)
