💼 About This Role

You'll lead technical accounting for M&A at OpenAI, researching and documenting Day 1 impacts of business and asset acquisitions. You'll enhance policies and controls while translating complex transactions into accurate journal entries and disclosures.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review and document accounting conclusions for business acquisitions
• Translate conclusions into month-end journal entries and footnote disclosures
• Enhance policies and controls for M&A process
• Create purchase price allocation workbooks and business combination memos

📋 Requirements

• CPA, CA, or equivalent accounting qualification
• 10+ years progressive experience in public accounting or tech company accounting
• Experience with US GAAP and complex audit areas
• Prior managerial role in public accounting firm
