As an Outside Sales Engineer, you'll manage multiple projects selling HVAC equipment and systems, build relationships with owners and engineers, and create competitive bids. You'll leverage your technical expertise to drive system design and selection, working with a strong local team backed by over 75 years of industry experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years commercial HVAC experience with full understanding of systems and market
- Knowledge of construction process and mechanical contractor success factors
- Customer focus with strong product knowledge, detail, and sizing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve practical problems with limited information and manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple ongoing projects selling HVAC equipment, service, and systems
- Build partnering relationships with owners and consulting engineers
- Create competitive estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analysis
- Oversee sales process with project management and estimation teams
- Act as subject matter expert in equipment selection and building operations documentation
