You'll join Elk Valley Resources (EVR) in Sparwood, BC, working on mechanical projects in a steelmaking coal mining environment. You'll assist in coordination, troubleshooting, and reliability initiatives, applying your academic knowledge to real-world operations. This co-op offers mentorship from seasoned specialists.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Participate in health and safety programs.
• Coordinate maintenance projects in processing plants or mines.
• Monitor project budgets and identify inefficiencies.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and develop repair scopes.

📋 Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License without restrictions.
• Comfortable in dynamic industrial environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

✨ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Solidworks.
