You'll lead a team of manufacturing engineers to develop and stabilize processes for metallic aerospace structures at Vast, a commercial space station company. Your core impact will be driving the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations through manufacturing innovation. This role offers the chance to work on next-generation space station modules in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes for metallic aerospace structures.
• Design and qualify welding cells, fabrication tooling, and production workstations.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing non-conformances.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or comparable STEM field.
• Experience in fast-paced development environments with evolving designs.
• Extensive experience developing or improving manufacturing processes for metallic structures.
• Proven experience managing a product across multiple workcenters or departments.

• Prior leadership experience managing engineers in a high-performance environment.
• Strong understanding of welding and fabrication processes.
• Experience with aerospace tooling or flight design from concept through production.
