As a Staff Software Engineer at Headway, you will build technology that helps therapists accept insurance and scale their practice, contributing to a new mental health care system. You'll work on initiatives like provider referrals, organic growth, and onboarding optimization using modern tools and frameworks.

Requirements

• Experience working across the stack on modern web applications
• Strong understanding of at least one programming language
• Ability to shape work to achieve company and team goals
• Flexibility to learn new technical and non-technical areas
• Experience architecting systems depended on by multiple teams

Responsibilities

• Architect complex systems spanning multiple technical domains or product areas
• Drive technical vision and strategy
• Build provider referrals platform and self-serve onboarding flows
• Optimize provider onboarding and credentialing process
• Evolve platform to support supervision of pre-licensed clinicians
