💼 About This Role

You'll lead development of features for WeTravel's trip planning platform, working with product teams to create AI-enabled tools and integrated experiences. You'll architect and build scalable back-end systems in Ruby on Rails and contribute to front-end components using React.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Lead and build features end-to-end from design to deployment.
• Partner with product team to discover user problems and shape solutions.
• Write high-quality back-end code in Ruby on Rails and occasional front-end in React/React Native.
• Design scalable services and systems anticipating future growth.
• Ensure service reliability and participate in on-call rotation.

📋 Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with product ownership mindset.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails or at least two other languages (Python/Go/Java/Kotlin/Node.js/.NET).
• Experience building and working with distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with production systems monitoring and on-call responsibilities.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Ruby on Rails and TypeScript/React/React Native.
• Recent experience building AI-enabled or agentic applications.
• Experience building catalog or content management systems.
