You'll build the core data systems and pipelines powering Reflection's open-weight AI research and production environments. You'll design scalable ingestion and orchestration patterns for batch and streaming workloads. This role offers a chance to define the data backbone for the world's most capable open AI systems.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design ingestion and orchestration for batch and streaming workloads
• Build scalable compute and storage foundations for large-scale data processing
• Ensure pipeline reproducibility via versioning and isolated execution environments
• Drive data quality, lineage, and governance for production decisions

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with production-grade pipelines at scale
• Experience designing end-to-end data systems handling large-scale batch and streaming workloads
• Proficiency in Spark, Flink, Airflow, Kafka, or equivalent technologies
• Background in data lake/warehouse architectures with Parquet, Iceberg, or Delta Lake

• Experience with metadata management and data quality tools like Great Expectations
• Familiarity with cost optimization and SLA-driven pipeline design
