You'll shape the roadmap and product strategy for LanceDB as our first product-focused engineer. You'll drive cross-team decisions and turn user insights into product changes. This role sits at the center of infra and product, with high ownership and zero PM theater.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Shape roadmap with CTO and engineering leadership
• Deep dive into competitors, users, and adjacent tech
• Turn user conversations into product changes
• Drive cross-team priority decisions

📋 Requirements

• 5-8+ years as a software engineer or highly technical PM
• Experience shipping and iterating products end-to-end
• Experience with large-scale data platforms (databases, data infra, ML/AI)
• Demonstrated ownership of ambiguous projects with minimal guidance
