Description

You will develop, coordinate, and implement driver safety policies and procedures to ensure logistics operations meet the highest standards. You'll oversee driver training, enforce FMCSA/DOT compliance, manage safety reporting, and promote a culture of accountability and safety across the regional hauling team.

Requirements

• 4+ years in supply chain/trucking environment
• CDL
• Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, leadership, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, and conflict resolution skills
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Pre-employment background check and drug screening required

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement safety practices for delivery execution
• Maintain driver training and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly safety meetings
• Coordinate DOT and FMCSA compliance scheduling with Human Resources
• Coordinate with supervisors to coach driver safety violations
• Administer quarterly and annual reporting under federal and state guidelines
• Manage the Accident Investigation process
• Monitor and manage Compliance, Safety and Accountability scores
• Conduct new driver training and oversee continuous education programs
• Ensure routine vehicle maintenance is scheduled and within safety compliance
• Ensure logistics staff comply with FMCSA/DOT and company safety standards
