💼 About This Role

You'll design and implement deep learning solutions for real-time perception on Skydio drones, including detection, tracking, and scene understanding. Your work will directly enable autonomous flight and intelligent mobile robots. You'll leverage massive structured video data and synthetic data to push the boundaries of computer vision.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and deploy deep learning models for detection, tracking, and segmentation
• Curate synthetic and real-world image datasets
• Optimize models for low-latency on embedded hardware
• Characterize and quantify vision system performance

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on deep learning experience
• Proficiency in Python and C++
• Experience deploying deep neural networks on embedded hardware
• Ability to read and contextualize computer vision research papers

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with unsupervised learning or few-shot learning
• Background in autonomous systems or robotics
• Experience with synthetic data generation
