Description

You will lead EO space missions and ground-based sensor networks projects, managing contracts, risks, schedules, and cross-functional teams while building customer relationships and mentoring staff. Your work enables responsive space-based sensing solutions for defense and intelligence customers.

Requirements

• Experience managing programs including electronics, software, and EO sensors on space or ground systems
• Ability to work on unusually complex technical problems and provide innovative solutions
• Strong communication skills across disciplines and with customers
• Experience leading program and customer meetings and reviews
• Ability to mentor junior technical staff and program support resources

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple contracts covering cost, risk, schedule, and technical performance
• Identify and mitigate program risks, develop contingency and recovery plans
• Lead engineering teams in planning and executing test events and resolving issues
• Build and deliver presentations to communicate program status and plans
• Maintain communication and relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners
