Description

You'll design and build core backend systems and APIs for HyperDX, an observability platform that unifies logs, metrics, traces, and session replays. You'll architect cloud-native infrastructure, scale deployments with Kubernetes and Helm, and engage with the open-source community to shape the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years backend engineering experience
• Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills
• Deep understanding of APIs, event-driven systems, and high-throughput data pipelines
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with analytical databases (ClickHouse a plus)
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/Pulumi)

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend systems and APIs for high-scale observability data ingestion and querying
• Architect and deploy cloud-native systems with Kubernetes, Helm, and infrastructure-as-code
• Define CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and alerting best practices
• Design ingestion and data processing pipelines for petabyte-scale workloads
• Collaborate with open-source contributors and customers to incorporate feedback
