Description

You will lead the development and governance of Archer's enterprise Metrology Program across all sites. Your role includes defining the strategic roadmap for metrology tools and processes, establishing aircraft inspection plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed metrology into design and manufacturing.

Requirements

• 10+ years in metrology and dimensional inspection in aerospace or regulated manufacturing
• Expert-level proficiency with Calypso, PolyWorks, and/or FARO software suites
• Hands-on experience with CMMs, laser trackers, articulating arms, and optical measurement systems
• Strong command of GD&T, model-based engineering, and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9103, AS9145, and AS6500 standards

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement enterprise Metrology Program across all operational sites
• Define strategic roadmap for metrology tools, systems, and processes
• Lead establishment of comprehensive aircraft inspection plans using MBD, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Design verification framework with risk-based inspection strategies
• Author measurement procedures and train metrology personnel
