Description

In this role, you will design and implement data architectures on Azure, working with cloud and hybrid environments. You'll collaborate with teams to deliver data solutions for clients, leveraging Microsoft technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• Expertise in designing logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid environments
• Experience with data modeling technologies such as ER/Studio, ER/Win or similar
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform services: Azure Data Lake Store, Azure Storage, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL database, Logic Apps, APIs
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies
• Proficiency in Python, SQL Scripting, PySpark
• General Cloud Architecture competency
• API knowledge, preferred ability to create APIs
• Preferred: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Cosmos DB, Data Flows, Express Route, Azure Active Directory
• Preferred: Experience with migration strategies from on-premise to Azure
• Preferred: Power BI, semantic modeling
• Preferred: AWS Glue, Data Factory, S3, Athena, Redshift, ECS; Azure Databricks, AKS

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing logical and physical data models for cloud and hybrid data warehouse environments
• Implementing data architectures to support structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
• Experience with multiple full life-cycle data warehouse implementations
• Understanding data architectures for data integration processing
• Data profiling and creation of source to target mappings
• Provisioning and configuring Azure data service resources
