Description

As the Electrical Engineering Tech Lead at Gatik AI, you will lead the definition and development of electrical and electronic components for autonomous vehicle platforms. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors, compute, and power systems, oversee vehicle bring-up, and manage technical documentation for production.

Requirements

• Area of expertise: selecting, integrating, connecting, and troubleshooting electronics and software bring-up
• Experience with autonomous vehicle platforms or similar complex systems
• Ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Mountain View, CA

Responsibilities

• Lead definition and development of electrical/electronic components and system architecture for autonomous vehicle platform
• Collaborate across hardware, software, and systems teams to drive integration of sensors, compute, and power systems from concept through deployment
• Serve as technical point of contact for key component and sensor suppliers, guiding selection, validation, and integration decisions
• Oversee vehicle- and system-level bring-up, ensuring readiness for calibration, testing, and manufacturing
• Define and manage technical documentation, interface specifications, and deliverables to support NPI and volume manufacturing
