You'll design and optimize high-performance systems for ExtraHop's core network detection platform, working in C/C++ on protocol parsing, packet capture, and time-series databases. You'll lead technical design, collaborate across teams, and modernize our architecture. This role offers deep technical challenges with real-world security impact.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-performance services for core Framework systems
• Implement and enhance network protocol support across layers
• Participate in technical design, architecture decisions, and code reviews
• Investigate and resolve production issues with root-cause analysis

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years designing and delivering production software
• Strong expertise in C and C++
• Experience developing on Linux systems (multi-threading, memory management)
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, packet processing)

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with network protocols like HTTP, SMB, or Kerberos
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Scripting experience in Python
