💼 About This Role

You'll guide the regulatory aspects of AC/DC EV charging equipment design, test, and certification at a leading EV charging network company. Your work ensures safety compliance with North American and EU standards, enabling successful third-party certification on the first iteration.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Guide design teams on AC/DC safety requirements from relevant standards
• Create test plans to validate safety designs for first-pass certification
• Perform safety tests and support prototype debugging and witness testing
• Obtain safety certifications by working directly with testing labs

📋 Requirements

• BS/MS in Physics or Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering
• 2-4 years related experience in Electrical technical fields
• Experience in Regulatory and Compliance Engineering (safety testing and certification)
• Thorough understanding of applying safety standards to product design

• Regulatory Engineering experience in Electric Vehicle charging equipment
• Basic coding skills
• Understanding of insulation systems and coordination
