💼 About This Role

You'll partner with senior security engineers to design and harden systems protecting Skydio's multi-tenant cloud and corporate environments. You'll split time between architecture and building internal security tooling. You'll play a key role in maturing systems that protect government and defense customers.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review RFCs and partner on security architectural decisions
• Design and build internal security systems end to end
• Harden and improve security-related production software components
• Partner with Compliance to translate regulatory requirements into technical controls

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years experience in cloud security or related security engineering role
• Strong experience working in AWS, ideally multi-tenant cloud environments
• Strong coding ability in Python or Go
• Experience reviewing system designs and providing security guidance

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in FedRAMP, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or CJIS-aligned environments
• Experience building or integrating authentication and identity systems (SSO, SCIM)
• Experience with Kubernetes debugging or automation
