Description

You will lead the global legal function at GumGum, a private adtech company, serving as the senior legal advisor to executive leadership. You will directly engage in complex commercial negotiations, employment matters, regulatory compliance, and governance, balancing risk management with commercial enablement to support revenue growth and global operations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from accredited law school
• Active bar membership (California or New York preferred)
• 15+ years legal experience including in-house with technology/media/adtech companies
• Strong background in commercial contracting and complex technology agreements
• Meaningful experience advising on employment, privacy, and governance matters

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary legal advisor to CFO, CEO, and executive leadership
• Oversee global commercial contracting function and negotiate key agreements
• Partner with People team on global employment matters
• Provide legal guidance on data privacy (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and AI compliance
• Manage outside counsel, litigation, disputes, and regulatory inquiries
