Description

You will lead the implementation of LISC DC's 3C initiative, supporting small multifamily affordable housing in DC neighborhoods. You'll provide technical assistance to building owners, co-manage consultants, collaborate on lending, and build community partnerships to strengthen affordable housing stock.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in urban studies, planning, public policy, real estate, or related field (experience may substitute)
Minimum 3 years experience in community development
Experience in real estate, building management, property management, financial underwriting, asset management, or project management
Highly motivated and solution-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and projects
Effective communication skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

Assist with creation, design, and implementation of Phase 2 of 3C initiative supporting 16 small buildings
Provide technical assistance to building owners analyzing fiscal health, physical needs, operations, compliance, and portfolio
Co-manage a team of consultants providing coaching and cohort trainings
Collaborate with lending team to deploy capital to 5-6 buildings
Build and maintain relationships with community partners, government agencies, banks, and philanthropic institutions
