💼 About This Role

You'll provide legal advice and develop strategies for timely resolution of casualty and accident benefit files at Gore Mutual Insurance. You'll carry a caseload of 50+ files and drive end-to-end file handling from assignment through trials and appeals. This hybrid role offers collaboration with claims adjusters and legal support staff.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Carry a case load of 50+ files with end-to-end handling
• Conduct examinations for discovery, mediations, motions, arbitrations, trials, and appeals
• Ensure legal compliance with national, provincial, and municipal laws
• Provide proactive legal insights and develop targeted training

📋 Requirements

• Undergraduate degree, J.D. or LL.B., called to the Ontario bar
• 3-8 years of litigation experience
• Experience handling claims disputes through litigation, mediation, and trials
• Proficiency with digital legal research resources
