You will be responsible for building pipeline and closing deals in your assigned territory through field sales, spending about 80% of your time meeting with local businesses. You'll run a full-cycle sales motion, develop expertise in key verticals like restaurants and retail, and consistently exceed quota.
Requirements
- 3+ years full cycle closing sales experience with field sales
- Experience exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals
- Ability to drive deals independently in fast-paced environment
- Business development experience (hunting and cold calling)
- Live in the market you serve and have reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Spend ~80% of week in the field conducting targeted business visits
- Generate leads, deliver demos, and close deals across Square's product suite
- Build trust-based relationships with local sellers
- Develop a referral strategy to turn customers into future opportunities
- Maintain operational rigor in Salesforce with accurate forecasting
