💼 About This Role

You'll lead and teach a rigorous ELA and History program for grades 6–12 at SOLFL, a pioneering K-12 Miami Torah Earth School. Your work will integrate humanities with environmental solutionism and impact entrepreneurship, moving beyond rote memorization to cultivate deep thinkers and future leaders. This role offers significant autonomy in shaping curriculum within a non-traditional, interdisciplinary environment.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Design and lead cohesive ELA and History program across grades 6–12
• Teach ELA and History to both middle and high school students
• Develop students' ability to read deeply, write clearly, and speak effectively
• Integrate humanities with impact entrepreneurship and environmental solutionism

📋 Requirements

• Deep expertise in ELA and/or History
• Comfortable teaching across Grades 6–12
• Ability to design curriculum, not just deliver it
• Strong understanding of history as the study of ideas

• Leadership experience in a Humanities, ELA, or History program
• Strong background in philosophy, political theory, or cultural studies
• Experience teaching writing as a craft (argument, rhetoric, narrative)
