Description

As a Diesel Technician on our Fleet Maintenance team, you will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers to ensure safety and reliability. You'll work primarily on day cabs and trailers under manufacturer warranty, using diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission problems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment
• Strong diagnostic skills for diesel engines and vehicle systems
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and laptop usage
• At least two ASE certifications within first 6 months (reimbursed)
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on Class 8 trucks and trailers
• Diagnose and repair electrical, engine, and transmission issues
• Address aftertreatment systems (DEF/emissions), perform regens, and change filters
• Maintain accurate records and optimize vehicle performance
• Ensure DOT compliance and adhere to safety protocols
