Description

You will be the front line of defense against email attackers, investigating threats, maintaining detailed documentation, and using data-driven insights to understand complex cybersecurity challenges. You'll resolve customer misclassification escalations, build expertise in email attack analysis, and support threat-hunting activities using internal and external data sources.

Requirements

• 6+ months working in cybersecurity, email, or anti-abuse spam field
• Ability to perform standardized data analysis using SQL and/or Python
• Ability to leverage AI-powered analytical tools
• Experience in technical writing communicating complex issues

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer misclassification escalations with accuracy and timely manner
• Communicate clearly with internal teams when responding to customer issues
• Build expertise in rule- and heuristic-based email attack analysis and containment
• Understand how message system works for handling customer escalations and attack containment
• Develop reliability as a team member, completing work on time and to spec
• Handle core attack analysis and containment tasks with guidance
• Assist in resolving higher-priority customer misclassification escalations
• Participate in root cause investigations behind misclassification issues
• Analyze data using internal and external tools, including AI-based tools
• Support threat-hunting activities using internal and external data sources
