Description

You will take full ownership of the Spanish P&L and drive commercial success across the market, leading sales and customer support teams while defining go-to-market strategy. You'll build partnerships with merchants and represent ViaBill with industry stakeholders, working closely with central functions to adapt strategies to the Spanish market.

Requirements

  • Strategic leader with a strong commercial mindset and proven P&L responsibility
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior commercial or leadership role (country manager, head of sales, general manager) within fintech, payments, e-commerce, or SaaS
  • Experience in scaling and optimizing teams, ideally with both sales and operations under your responsibility
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with top-tier merchants and partners
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, able to translate insights into actions
  • Ambitious, resilient, and motivated by creating growth in a dynamic, international scale-up environment
  • Fluent in Spanish (native-level) and English

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the Spanish P&L and drive commercial success across the market
  • Lead, optimize, and develop the existing Spanish sales and customer support teams
  • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Spain
  • Build and strengthen long-term partnerships with merchants, including negotiations with C-level stakeholders
  • Act as ViaBill’s representative in Spain towards partners, merchants, and regulatory/industry bodies
  • Monitor performance, KPIs, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency
  • Work closely with central functions (product, marketing, risk, finance) to adapt strategies to the Spanish market
  • Prepare the ground for potential expansion of the local structure (e.g., marketing, operations) as the business grows
