Description

As our first Head of People, you'll build the people function from scratch, focusing initially on scaling headcount through exceptional sourcing, recruiting, and hiring. You'll develop frameworks for performance management, employee growth, and scaling into new regions, while overseeing compliance and HR operations.

Requirements

• 5-10+ years of experience in operations teams, ideally building recruiting functions at early stage tech companies.
• Experience building people functions from scratch in high-growth startups.
• Experience managing teams, preferably in a people operations capacity.
• Ability to work closely with executives and department leads.
• Experience with creating growth and levelling frameworks.
• Comfortable being both a builder and an operator.
• Pragmatism, agency, growth mindset.

Responsibilities

• Help scale headcount by sourcing and recruiting candidates, building frameworks for candidate sourcing at scale.
• Manage interview processes, support hiring managers, and evaluate people operations tech stack.
• Manage candidate onboarding from offer acceptance through ramp period.
• Custodian of Ivo's brand in the hiring market.
• Develop frameworks for employee performance evaluation and growth through promotion cycles.
• Help hire teams and build offices in new regions as company expands.
• Partner with Finance and Ops to develop headcount plans aligned with financial targets.
• Oversee state and federal HR compliance.
