💼 About This Role

You'll own Looker and the semantic layer, ensuring trusted analytics across the business. You'll lead a team of analytics engineers and partner with data engineering to build durable, self-service BI solutions. 🎯 What You'll Do

• Administer Looker platform permissions, performance, and content lifecycle
• Partner with teams to align on shared metrics and definitions
• Oversee care and reliability of core dashboards and reports
• Hire and lead analytics engineers, mentoring on modeling and stakeholder partnership

📋 Requirements

• 6–8+ years in analytics engineering or data modeling roles
• Expert-level SQL and dimensional modeling abilities
• Proven ability to design simple, durable semantic layers over complex data
• Hands-on experience with Looker or modern lakehouse platforms

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with Databricks
• Experience in insurance or fintech
