💼 About This Role

You'll join the Kernel and Driver development team responsible for storage area network protocols and Linux/VMware initiator stack behavior. You'll develop and debug device drivers for Pure Storage's FlashArray, optimizing performance and reliability. This role offers the chance to contribute to upstream Linux while working on cutting-edge storage technology.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and debug Linux initiator stack for FlashArray attachment.
• Maintain Purity's Fibre Channel SCSI target driver and NIC drivers.
• Analyze and resolve complex storage protocol and kernel issues.
• Optimize storage performance and contribute bug fixes upstream.

📋 Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with Linux/Unix kernel or device drivers.
• Strong experience in storage protocols (SCSI, NVMe, Fibre Channel).
• Proficiency in C and C++ for kernel-level programming.
• Experience with performance analysis/optimization for storage systems.

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience with VMware initiator stack.
• Experience upstreaming Linux code.
• Familiarity with Python and test automation.
