Description
In this role, you will support the design engineering community to produce higher reliability electronic components and systems for Starshield, a government-focused program leveraging SpaceX's Starlink technology. You will evaluate component quality and reliability, lead reliability test planning and failure analysis, and interface with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline
- 2+ years experience in hardware development, hardware troubleshooting, or data analysis
- 1+ years experience with Python or SQL
- Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary
- Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance preferred
Responsibilities
- Drive avionics EEE piece part reliability issues and risk towards closure
- Use reliability physics of failure models and statistics to assess risk and develop accelerated tests
- Lead reliability test planning, methodology, and execution
- Drive analysis processes for all failures discovered during reliability testing
- Advise EEE designers on parts selection based on reliability and manufacturing processes
