Description

In this role, you will support the design engineering community to produce higher reliability electronic components and systems for Starshield, a government-focused program leveraging SpaceX's Starlink technology. You will evaluate component quality and reliability, lead reliability test planning and failure analysis, and interface with cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or another STEM discipline
  • 2+ years experience in hardware development, hardware troubleshooting, or data analysis
  • 1+ years experience with Python or SQL
  • Ability to work long hours and weekends as necessary
  • Active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Drive avionics EEE piece part reliability issues and risk towards closure
  • Use reliability physics of failure models and statistics to assess risk and develop accelerated tests
  • Lead reliability test planning, methodology, and execution
  • Drive analysis processes for all failures discovered during reliability testing
  • Advise EEE designers on parts selection based on reliability and manufacturing processes
