💼 About This Role

You'll develop ETL data engineering processes using Python (PySpark) within Azure Synapse Analytics. You'll design and build data warehousing structures in an MPP SQL Pool. This role offers the chance to contribute to challenging projects in a rapidly growing consultancy.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using PySpark in Azure Synapse.
• Design data warehousing structures with star schemas and MPP SQL Pool.
• Extract data from REST APIs, SQL databases, and CSV files.
• Optimize data notebooks/pipelines for scalability and performance.

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven ETL experience using Python (PySpark) for data extraction and transformation.
• Proficiency in Azure Synapse Analytics (Notebooks, Pipelines, Linked Services, Key Vault).
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize performance with SparkSQL and MS SQL.

• Certifications in data engineering or data science (e.g., Azure Data Engineer).
• Familiarity with big data technologies, machine learning, and data analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and Agile methodologies.
