💼 About This Role

You'll join the R&D team at IEM, designing and testing low/medium voltage power distribution products for industries powering global markets. You'll lead product development from concept to certification, collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. This role offers hands-on prototyping and testing in a company with 75+ years of industry leadership.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Execute and implement New Product Introduction engineering work for assigned projects.
• Lead creation of detailed design drawings, 3D models, and bills of materials.
• Develop and document test plans according to relevant standards.
• Evaluate test results and revise designs based on empirical data.
• Work with manufacturing engineering to implement Design for Manufacturability.

📋 Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience designing low and/or medium voltage power distribution equipment.
• BSME or equivalent in experience.
• Experience with NRTL (UL, CSA, etc.) evaluation, testing and certification processes.
• Familiarity with standards like UL 891, 1558, 508A; IEEE C37.20, etc.
