💼 About This Role
You'll function as a responsible engineer for avionics systems across the full lifecycle of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. You'll define detailed designs, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure flight readiness through system-level testing and troubleshooting. This role offers the chance to mentor fellow engineers and contribute to pioneering space habitat development.
🎯 What You'll Do
- Function as responsible engineer for avionics systems across design, integration, test, launch, and operations.
- Define detailed systems design including interfaces, budgets, harness capabilities, and fault tolerance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and scope designs from concept to production.
- Develop system-level test plans for integrated flight hardware to verify readiness.
📋 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience with avionics design, analysis, system-level integration, or unit-level testing.
- Experience with systems engineering principles as applied to spacecraft development.
- Experience with lifecycle development for space systems including requirement definition and verification.

- Experience with system design and test of subsystems like power, GNC, RF, or human interfaces.
- Experience with high-reliability/fault-tolerant electronics for aerospace or defense.
