You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robust and scalable foundation of Affirm's platform by managing Kubernetes clusters, enhancing observability, fortifying infrastructure reliability, and automating operational workflows. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategy and foster a culture of quality and ownership.

Requirements

• Extensive track record with distributed systems using AWS and Kubernetes
• Excellent troubleshooting skills on cloud and distributed systems
• Experience automating deployments using Kubernetes
• Experience delivering major features or system components
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Execute technical strategy and tie it with business-impacting projects
• Collaborate across teams in product development lifecycle
• Act as force-multiplier by defining and advocating technical solutions and processes
• Own team operations and availability through monitoring, triage, and alerting
• Foster quality and ownership culture via code review and design standards
