Description

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar power plants near Bronx, New York, ensuring safe and efficient operation of solar utility and sub-station equipment. You'll troubleshoot electrical components, document work, and collaborate with a team to maintain top performance.

Requirements

• 2+ years in commercial/industrial O&M on solar power plants preferred
• Preventative maintenance experience on solar utility equipment preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and installation skills
• Experience with inverters, tracker systems, or substation equipment (TMEIC/SMA/Sungrow/Nextracker/ATI) preferred
• Ability to train and mentor laborers into Apprentices

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance of solar utility and sub-station equipment
• Document work orders, time logs, inventory, and emergency schedules
• Troubleshoot electrical components using digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps
• Test and troubleshoot installed solar equipment to ensure proper operation
• Operate and maintain a motor vehicle safely and legally
