💼 About This Role

You'll manage complex litigation and regulatory disputes for Rover, a fast-growing pet care marketplace. You'll own cases from strategy to resolution and partner with the Government Affairs team to advocate on policy issues. This hybrid role is based in Seattle.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Manage complex litigation and arbitration from inception through resolution.
• Propose creative solutions to novel legal issues with material business impact.
• Cultivate partnerships with outside counsel and provide feedback to improve outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze legislation and regulations affecting the business.
• Draft advocacy materials for engagements with policymakers and regulators.

📋 Requirements

• At least 12 years of relevant litigation or regulatory legal practice.
• Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to tailor messages.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic vision to understand impact of legal trends on long-term success.

• Experience working for online marketplaces, technology companies, or highly regulated industries.
• Experience managing outside counsel relationships and budgets.
• Experience supporting government affairs or public policy functions.
