Description

You'll embed security into product design from day one, lead threat modeling, drive secure-by-default patterns, own security assessments, and respond to complex incidents while mentoring engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years building production software (backend, full-stack, or platform engineering)
• Security expertise developed through practice (e.g., Security Champion, secure design initiatives)
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Effective communication with diverse stakeholders
• Experience with threat modeling and security design review processes at scale (nice to have)

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to embed security into product design
• Lead threat modeling for new features and architectures
• Drive secure-by-default patterns across the organization
• Own security assessments end-to-end
• Respond to and lead complex security incidents
