Description

As an Associate Software Engineer at 2K Sports Lab, you will provide tools and software support to engineers, designers, and artists, develop new tools and pipelines, and debug low-level engine issues. You'll work on optimizing runtime and tool code, and create automation to improve engine stability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Perforce, Git)
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Solid familiarity and experience with C++, C#, and Python
• Ability to explain technical topics to people of varying levels of expertise
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Love for video games

Responsibilities

• Provide software and tools support to engineers, designers, and artists
• Design and develop new tools, runtime libraries, and pipelines
• Debug and triage low-level engine and platform issues
• Optimize runtime and tool code to be more performant
• Develop automation tools and tests to improve and maintain engine stability
