Description

You'll build and maintain the foundational ML infrastructure powering Afresh's fresh food ordering platform. Your work on the ML Platform Engineering team will directly enable machine learning and applied science teams to innovate faster, scaling to support billions of dollars in grocery orders and reducing food waste.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or relevant technical field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience collaborating with ML engineers or data scientists on large-scale ML projects
• Deep expertise in library design, API design, data structures, and algorithms
• Strong familiarity with Python

Responsibilities

• Deliver features that generalize model configuration or enable no-code model deploys
• Own implementation of significant scalability improvements to the ML platform
• Build new feature pipelines for the recommendation engine
• Stand up the first instance of real-time inference at Afresh
