💼 About This Role

You'll manage large-scale battery storage projects including engineering and procurement for a merchant-type ESS developer. You'll own system design, vendor contracts, and pipeline growth to drive JP's renewable energy transition.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Create detailed system requirements for ESS components
• Manage vendor contracts from RFQ to delivery
• Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities
• Oversee construction management (if experienced)

📋 Requirements

• Native-level Japanese and English for technical documents
• Understanding of electricity markets and ancillary services
• Experience with ESS design, IEC/UL standards, and testing
• EPC/ESS supply contract experience and stakeholder management

✨ Nice to Have

• Experience in corporate PPA and environmental value sales
• ESS installation, commissioning, and O&M experience
