💼 About This Role

You'll identify, assess, and mitigate risks in merchant accounts for a payments-as-a-service platform. You'll drive process efficiency through agile approaches and strategic AI implementation.

🎯 What You'll Do

• Review new merchant applications for risk exposure
• Conduct due diligence and enhanced due diligence on merchants
• Monitor portfolios for unusual transaction patterns and fraud
• Analyze transaction data to detect fraud and money laundering

📋 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
• 8+ years experience in acquiring, merchant risk, or fraud operations
• Knowledge of AUSTRAC, Scheme Regulation, PCI-DSS frameworks
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or similar)

• Exposure to high-risk merchant verticals (gaming, nutraceuticals, travel, CBD)
• Knowledge of chargeback management and dispute resolution
